i think 2002, 2003 and 2004 were pretty good years for him, eh was on the top but at the same time his personal life wasnt giving him many probles..of course drama has and i think that it will always eb in his life, wich its sad, at the time kim was having problems but em looked healthy and he looked happy
it all changed when he had to go on tour, we all know he doesnt like being away from his family, after that: addiction to sleeping pills, wedding, divorce and proofs dead, it all happened in less that one year, a divorce and the death of ur best friend...too many personal problems, thats very difficult to overcome and it takes time, u can say ive just divorced and my best friend died 15 days ago but life continues..im sure marshall felt miserable at the time

we cant forget how em used to abuse of drugs, it has a lot of bad effects and they will appear if they havent appeared yet...

I didnt mean his money was declining I meant his career...see encore had no inspiration all other albums did...but i can honestly say that he had no inspiration or drive to encore besides mockingbird

i cant see em ever declining, i mean he could sh** on a CD & it would go platinum, the only slightly downhill years have been 06/07 for obvious reasons, but 2009 has potential to be his biggest yet & with 2 albums on the cards whose to say it wont

yeah you right he was in the top 10 ,, he still in rise ,,, agree with proof death , even getting older is not a decline ,, cuz it's natural to every artist , and it has a slightly effects ,,, nothin serious .

Here's my opinion: Personal shit was happenin' in his life that made him wanna be close to home. He needed to feel grounded. Goin' back & forth damn near every night didn't help, hence the sleeping pills. Then he rushed & married Kim (only God knows why) that didn't help. While realizing his fuck up & goin' through a divorce, his best friend died & he blamed himself. He shut himself off from his friends & the world. While still dealin' with that Kim didn't help...she blasted him damn near everywhere. Honestly after Shaun died & hearing her BS on Mojo about wanting him back, I thought they would be drawn closer together. She ruined that when she kept talking. It was like she didn't care about what happened. He kept quiet...went into depression. Seemed like the best bet because people were sick of hearin the shit anyway. Nobody claims they wanna hear it on the album either. After being quiet 4 a while, he got really sick...then he tore his ACL (Ouch) delayed anything if was tryin' 2 do anything.

Honestly how can you say it went down hill after the signing of 50?
50 made him tons of cash, and showed Ems talent for spotting a talented rapper.
His only downfall for me was like already said, Proof dying, and the divorce from Kim otherwise he was bound to have time out from the business hes been doing it for years now....
