I just wondered what peoples thoughts are on whether Em will ever be as succesful as he was before, i mean the fact his video for crack a bottle is taking ages to come out already shows signs of perhaps some would say "fading" . I really dont know if he will ever be the rapper he was before, i do hope he is but somehow i just cant see him reaching those heights again

No and I don't want him to be, he did genious stuff in the past but it's over with, time to concentrate on the new stuff. I hope he renewed himself and will do creative stuff

he will be massive again you can garentee it, the more powerful of an album Relapse is the bigger Em will become this year.

With 2 albums on the cards for this year, its no doubt that many many MTV awards + Grammys are on the cards for the end of the year and into 2010

the fact that the crack a bottle video is taking a long time to come out is totally irrelevant to your point...its not up to Em to release the video...Interscope is the boss of what gets released when

and if u want to get into "fading" then that already happened in 2005...now its about "re-emerging" or as he calls it "relapsing"

dre hasnt dropped for years and look at all the anticipation for detox, so yes i do believe he will be as successful. Perhaps not as well as the past but thatd mostly be due to the music industry's lack of cd sales

Yeah he is the best and most succesful rap superstar, but even the best one day just arent going to be able to do the things they used to, im not saying hes finished, because hes not, lets just see what happens, im sure we will all still be loyal shady fans regardless

i don't think he's gonna do amazing numbers first week...800k-1mill at most
BUT, if his album is REALLY REALLY GOOD (TES kinda good) then a lot of people are gonna hear all the positive reviews and go buy that shit in the weeks after so you might see him sell 3 mill in a month despite not selling a million first week...just my opinion

Does anyone know if they are now counting iTunes album sales towards the total CD sales?
