You make me crazy, you make me act like a maniac.
Im like a lunatic, you make me sick
You're truly the only one who can do this to me
You just make me get so crazy.
I go schizo, I get so insane I just go skitzophrenic
One minute I want to slit your throat
The next I want sex.
You make me crazy,
the way we act like 2 maniacs in the sack
We fuck like 2 jackrabbits
And maybe thats a bad habit.

Here he has such GREAT rhymes like, "crazy/baby/make me" and "truly/do this/to me". He also rhymes with "maniac" repetitively. Also it's cheesy as fuck...I mean, "next I wanna sex"? "We fuck like 2 jackrabbits"? Who says stuff like that? :confusion:

Um, no....that song sucks. It's the horrible Encore voice with the monotone delivery, where he's just flowing over the up-tempo beat non-stop. Absolutely no skill involved.

Perfect example of embarrassing post-prime Eminem.

I completely disagree with everything you just said. I'm sure that no one would claim that its the best that he ever did, but of all the songs on Encore, its one of the better ones. The beat and sample is great. His delivery is different than usual, so it stands out. IMO that should've been a single. Its not like any of the ones he normally picks are that much better...

nah, not too big into it. i tend to group it with puke, though puke i kinda like, cus i wouldn't really consider either song rap, but more just straight up pop songs, which Em tends to make fun of

also, his voice is really facking annoying on those songs

In some period Crazy In Love was my best song on Encore.
Now is on top 5!
"Proof, No matter how much time passes, not a day goes by that I don't think of you. If it weren't for you, I would not be where I am today and we both know it. I tried to write song for you but nothing was good enough, so I'm dedicating them all to you-and you'd be happy to know that I spazzed out on 'em gain!I know you wouldn't have it any other way! Fuck 'em all--let's get 'em!
P.S. I'm sober now, I know you'd be proud. I love you Doody, I'll never forget you. Love, Doody "

Being designated as the best song on Encore is like being called the smartest kid on the short bus.

It has the most amazing flow on the whole album and it's definitely in the top 5 on Encore.
Still there are a couple of tracks which are better than this one on Encore.

I gotta disagree.

Besides for that second verse (which is absolute fire, one of the best verse on Encore) this song really annoys me. While his flow isn't too terrible on the first verse the actual rhymes are childish and poorly constructed. Plus i find that sampled hook terrible, painful almost - just does not fit in with Em's style.

Worst of all though is the subject matter. Is it just me or is no one else here sick of hearing about Kim/Hailie/Em's Mother? I'm hoping Relapse has nothing more on his family issues because at this stage in his career it would just be overkill. The fact that he included Puke, Crazy in Love, Mockingbird and numerous references to his family in other songs is one of the reasons Encore failed in my opinion (not the only reason of course). Even if they're really good songs (Mockingbird) it still doesn't hide the fact that he desperately needed some new material.

On a semi-(un)related note I've seen a lot of hate directed at Em's verse on Spend Some Time but i believe it was his best on the album. Look closely at the lyrics - very Eminem Showish, very lyrical, very powerful. The guests on that song were wack but Em just straight killed it.
