What albums will Relapse be competing against?

I know some competition, what about the fucking Green day album coming on 15 May? (They should release it on 19 May in the USA to really compete though).

Last album of Green day was also in 2004 and it went like 5x platinum in the USA...

Amen to that. It has been so long for Green Day too. I miss them.

Techinically though, since Green Day is coming out on the friday before Relapse, they aren't really competing against Em. Won't their first week sales only count from Friday, May 15th to the following Monday? and Em's will be normal from Tuesday, May 19th to the following Monday?

I don't really know how first week slaes are counted, but if that's the case, then Em will outsell green Day because they aren't coming out the same week.

Green Day will have their first week sales being just 4days instead of 7, and then the next full week starting from the 19th will be the week that they compete. I'd say theyd still be selling huge numbers even in there full first week.

There won't be any competition as stated above. Eminem is the 1st or 2nd highest selling rapper of all time so rap/hip hop/R&B are his bitch. And Green Day is cool and all, but for some reason I really doubt they're going to do much in the way of slowing Em's sales in the slightest.

I'm gunna be crazy I know and say 10 weeks at number one to start, but I'm saying this before the first single so my opinion on this could very well change. I just feel em's one of the few people who will sell at all, so that's why I said 10 lol
