lyrically its great, wordplay great, rhyming is un-real at the sheer amount of them, metaphors references everything is there and at an excellent standard, the beat is really good imo, the delivery sucks, the flow has gotten repetative coz he has had the same one for crack a bottle, we made you and now 3 am.


he goes up and rhymes one silly word (done, run, bun, nun ect.) emphasising the word to the point its gotten annoying, then falls back down to hit the snare with a usually great multi rhyme, its perfect on beat it flows amazing, but its boring after 7 verses were i hear no variation on it at all, listen through eminem show, he changes his flows he flows to the snare, then hi hat, the bass ect. he experiments and keeps it fresh, one problem with encore is he stuck to the hi hat flow just removing the hi hats from the beat most times so it wasnt obvious, it made every song feel familiar with the way he rapped it and made it not as good to listen to. he seems to have found a new flow and goin to be doin it for the whole album, not a terrible mistake but it just aint as good to listen to, he should go through all his flows using different types and different rhyming schemes, coz if anyone else hasnt notices he has had the same rhyme scheme for the 3 songs aswell.


the similarity to his flows and rhyme scheme done make this song sound unique, the terrible delivery and the fact he is tryna be physco but sound like a goof, and also doesnt sound serious (kill you, hes crazy and you think hes serious its awesome) bring this lyrically great song way way down and makes it a average track, you need more than lyrics, and anyone who voted classic is a fucking idiot.

If someone likes Kill You more than 3 A.M., it does NOT make them a kid because of that.
I personally think Kill You is a better song than 3 A.M., but lyrically 3 A.M. smashes Kill You to pieces.
And I'm not a kid, I'm 20 years old.
It's not all about the lyrics you know, the flow has to be there, the delivery has to be there, the energy has to be there etc. etc. and 3 A.M. has the flow and lyrics, but Kill You got it all, but it's not lyrically awesome as 3 A.M. is.

Still I think 3 A.M. was great.

How did this turn into 3 a.m versus Kill You? They're both great tracks, but they are both totally different. Different vibe, different flow, different delivery and rhyme scheme. They're not even comparable content-wise. Kill You was an angry fuck you to the media where he was just rebelling against the idea that he could only rhyme about being poor while also setting the tone for the album. 3 a.m is just a fantasy track about a murderer who has a blast killing people.

The people still annoyed by his voice or delivery are not grasping the big picture. He's creating a character, I'm sure it'll make a lot more sense when you see the video. That's a great prospect to look forward to in itself, should make an awesome video.

Kill you is the shit, they way he rhymes over that unbelieably simple beat is one of the best part about the whole song, 3 Am is the shit tho, i listened to it after i read every 1's opinion on it, but it turned out that i like the beat-ALOT!, its a pretty sick beat and the add on's are reeally kool, i think he stepped up his game big time

i dont think hes creating a character, coz if he is its the same character from ass like that, we made you, crack a bottle and that character is pointless if he is goin to be doin the same thing eminem does just in a different voice, stan is a character and he didnt need to have a gay voice to be classic rap.
