Don't compare eminem 2pac.... Simply because 2pacs words are the words of a leader and he spoke for other people, eminem mostly talks about his life, like his life is a [i]show[/i. Eminem has admitted to be a big fan of tupac, and somewhat tries to be like him. The only reason that people think that eminem influenced more is coz the white society is the majority. 2pacs influence was actually usefull. From wat eminem has talked about so far, he is only giving people the "controversy feeling", he is inspiring angry teenagers. Most people overrate Eminem simply because he is the first rapper they've been exposed to. Im sad to say this but the social structure is still of a racist kind and our parents( ofcourse maybe not) are kind of more keen to a white rapper influencing their children.
The biggest(Good) influence that Eminem has had on people, is "8-mile". I Know that 90% of the white suburban kids in the 16-18 year old category has been greatly inspired by the film, only thing is the we dont really know how many of those will be worth somthing someday, coz so far almost every one of these internet kids has a soundclick acount.
Eminem a good example of a person that made it, but as far as music goes he hasnt made any records that can be of positive influence in society, exept Mosh :P , which hasnt actually affected much though.
