Who here has Limewire?

Im sick of asking for a shit load of songs lik every few days on this forum, so i'm thinkin of just sayin fuck it and getting Limewire. But I hear it damages your computer hella bad, so idk if I want 2. So who here has Limewire? Does it mess up your computer at all or make it go slower?

Its the Java runtime environment you need to run it that slows down certain computers.Use Ares its much better than Limewire or any free software of that kind.

i have limewire but i prefer using "Frostwire" you get more search hits than lime. when downloading songs just becareful with both lime and frostwire for fake "songs".

I used to use Limewire, but I've uninstalled it and downloaded Ares... had it for a year or so. In my opinion, it's better than Limewire... in the sense of better quality songs and search. Haven't had a problem with song downloads and them being viruses or anything like that... matter of fact the biggest problem I've had was downloading a song and it being the clean version. No biggie though, just delete it and you're on your way.

every once in a while it wont be what you want and itll be porn...and not good porn like girls fisting and stuff...but that happened to me once and ive downloaded gigs of shit fromn that program

i use frostwire b/c it's slightly better imo than limewire, and u can always look up the bitzi print of a file b4 u d/l if ur unsure, for both programs. no problem's for me & i've used limewire/frostwire for many years since napster and kazaa got fucked
