Whats the Best Way to Record

I have recorded one song but it was extra shitty because it was on this piece of shit MP3 recorder...so I'm wondering how do you guys record and whats the best way. I need to record my demo tape and I go 13 songs....and a producer. So please I need help and I need a cheap way as well. Thanks ahead of time

I suggest finding someone close to home who has a studio set-up and get them to mix and master all your songs. It isn't the cheapest way, but if you're serious about music and quality, it is deffinetly worth investing some money into.

no no 100$ isnt out of my range...where can i get this like Best Buy or something. Do i need a program or something to add the beat to the accepella... I have something called MAGIX Music Maker/Editer 2.0...I dont know if that is a good program or not

i suggest getting a simple logitech 30 dollar mic. they sound great if u know how to mix it. there are plenty of willing mixers right here on TR if u don't know anyone.
