Danny DeVito Ponders Getting Naked ... With Angelina Jolie

SAN DIEGO — What man wouldn't enjoy getting naked with Angelina Jolie? What woman wouldn't be thrilled at the notion of seeing Danny DeVito in the buff?

OK, so maybe the answer to that second question is "most of them." But nevertheless, when the always-unpredictable DeVito met up with MTV News at Comic-Con, he said he was eager to give the world what they didn't want — and make them laugh while he was at it.

"In one episode, you'll see more of me than you have in the past, and more of me than you'd probably like to see," DeVito said during a conversation about the new season of his hilarious FX show, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." "[I'm nude] in every conceivable way — I'm being literal.

"It's FX," he laughed. "We're having a ball."

For those who still haven't seen the show (and shame on you if you haven't), imagine "Seinfeld" if all four characters were George Costanza, and you'll begin to grasp the vicious, hilarious nothingness of the show.

And the height-challenged DeVito reminded us that he isn't new to nudity. "When I was in 'Big Fish,' [I got naked]," he said. "It was a Tim Burton up-the-back butt shot. ... And I did twirl once in 'It's Always Sunny.' I was in a hospital gown — just to show my ass."

"You've got to give them a little flesh — that's the thing," the veteran actor reasoned. "People want to see my naked body as much as they want to see Angelina Jolie's beautiful full lips."

Um, where are you going with this, Danny?

"I'd be a little bit nervous about being naked with Angelina Jolie," he explained when we asked if he'd ever make a movie with the "Tomb Raider" sexpot. "Oh, you didn't say anything about being naked, just doing something together? Yeah, we could do that."

There are a lot of wonderful words to describe Mr. Danny DeVito. But at Comic-Com, only three letters come to mind: T, M and I.
