CD'S OUT

i was listening the radio en my car and i heard this: they're gone to put out som kind of memory card, instead CD's so, no more Album cover no more lyrics books and shit like that.The memory card contains the music of yout artist... to put it on the computer....so tell me what do you think of this!! i think its fucked!

Who said that? That seems like it would be a really stupid idea. I mean a memory card would definitely be more expensive than a CD, plus people would lose the ability to play it in their car since most people don't have memory card slots (or USB ports if that's what they're talking about) in their cars even though it's popular in new models. Also if they were going to do that then they'd just go to an all download system. Plus they'd miss out on people who don't have computers. They're going to have CDs for a long long time to come, don't worry dude.

I always wondered what they were going to replace CDs with....records then 8 tracks then tapes then CDs and were had CDs it seems forever

Yeah I doubt any major labels would risk alienating consumers, and smaller labels probably couldn't afford it lol. Until there's a HUGE change in technology CDs will never be obsolete.

Well think about it guys, if you have the memory sticks and bring them home, upload the songs to your computer, you can just burn them to a CD. But still, I'd rather CD's be around for a while now. Album covers and the books are always fun to look at lol

they are likely going to do something to keep people from being able to copy the songs onto computers.

CDs won't ever be out. Don't worry bout it. BluRay just came out.
