Coming back from Mexico I had some bad jet-lag so I couldn't sleep. What I usually do is listen to music cause that eventually tires me out somehow. For some people it probably awakens them more but not for me.

yeah, that awakens me lol ..

Well watching the really bright screen of my iPod in the dark also somehow tires my eyes so I squint more making me sleepier as well. Weird. Talking about screens, watching a movie is good as well. Easier to fall asleep to that.

Make sure you are in a room with windows covered with a curtain so no light can get through. In fact, the slightest light can interfere with your sleep. Make sure it is a cool room. Sleep on a comfortable surface, if it is an uncomfortable surface you will less likely fall asleep. Don't eat or drink anything with caffeine, chocolate has caffeine.

And also, sleeping naked always helps you fall asleep much easier, no matter how comfortable your pajamas are.
