Hiding the Download Center ?

TRshady, why do you let Guests to see the Download Center? You should hide it, 'cuz they can view the threads and download/leech the links.

Anyway...

I think I once installed on my forum (the old one) a phpBB MODification (I think it was Post Count Access Control, but I couldn't find it now, dunno why) and this MODification allowed members to access the sub-forum if they had a number of posts (set by an Admin).

Like.. ONLY 30+ posts registered members can access that forum.

OR

Install the Hide Hack (but I never installed that one, I just saw it on other phpBB2 forums)

Hope you'll find it and install it soon.

I'll have a 2 week period of wait till the downloads are seen ..
At the moent the downloads threads can be seen but not read by any guests, I'll double check to confirm. The forum opened late last night so I've had little time to get things in order, bear with me a few days and I'll have all the modifications I think need doing, implemented.

Soon the downloads section of main site will require you to be logged in to make sure resources go to those who dervse most.
