It was.. ecstatic. All pics by me & my mate, taken with an old Konica Minolta 3,2 mpx camera. I was lucky, because you weren't allowed to bring cameras better than that or professional DSL's, hah.

It started with a very good performance by The Streets on Thursday afternoon, followed by James and The Killers (surprisingly for me, popular bands - since I'm not a rock fan, I didn't know them. Turns out - they're pretty popular. Wow, 'loser' for me^^)

Next day.. OSTR (my fave polish rapper) demonstrated his freestyle skills, I was truly amazed (about 5 minutes long freestyle. Orgasmic). Plus, I know he's dope, so I expected dopeness and I was 100% he'd never disappoint us, ahh.

Lupe Fiasco came out with something really really insane. He was jumping, dancing, running all over the scene, it was amazing that he'd still had the energy to rap. He performed 'Tokyo Paris', 'Gadget Flow', 'Superstar', 'Shining Down', 'Hip Hop Saved My Life' and more and each one was amazing and it felt so great to be in the crowd, rap along and feel the positive vibe, whoa.

Gentleman also performed a very cool show, positive, energetic, mellow at times. I'm not a big fan to be honest, I've only listened to him couple of times, but the music works for you if you wanna just chill out. Was good.
50 Cent, who was supposed to be the big thing and blah blah blah.. He truly sucked. Along with Banks, Yayo and Whoo Kid -_-' Except of screaming, throwing his caps into the crowd and smoking weed on-stage, they didn't perform anything that would even deserve to be called 'decent'. I was in one of the front rows, because I wanted to see Lupe, and I stayed there for 50's performance. During the break, it turned out me and my mate found ourselves surrounded by bunch of female teens excited by the upcoming 50's performance. At some point I was close to tell them to get the fuck out or at least change their place, since I got really tired of listening to their conversations that involved 50 Cent rescuing one of them in case of fainting. How stupid can a 16 y.o. girl be?!?!?! After the performance began, I left the crowd after 10 minutes and spent the rest of the performance sipping on Coke in the tent with quite a good view of the scene with my 2 mates. I felt quite bad about leaving the other one in the crowd, so I left him some Coke. One good thing I gotta say about 50 - he's got incredible teeth.

Next (the last) day started with Abradab (polish rapper) and some of K44's old stuff, which was an extatic experience for my mate, who spent with me 8 hours in the crowd. Gotta admit though that we got one of the best places possible.

After Abradab we had Madcon (Norwegian duo) and holy shit - I loved it. We were jumping, singing, dancing along with them and they had so much energy, craziness and sense of humour that it was a real pleasure to watch Tshawe and Yoseph on stage. Seemed like they really enjoy what they were doing, making fun of each other, singing and rapping. The crowd went crazy when they performed 'Beggin' and 'Liar'. Plus, they like Heineken - now I like them even more. Another big plus - they had incredible band -

Halfway through Madcon's performance it started to rain, so when Shaggy showed up wrapped in a coat and scarf, I felt a pang of jealousy of his dry clothes.. But after 5 minutes it stopped to matter, because I was having so much fun that I almost forgot that the fuckin rain can actually damage the camera.. -__-' so I wrapped it up in a plastic bag. Anyways, Shaggy, Rayvon, Natasha and the rest of the band - awesomeness. Again - positive vibe, reggae music and I loved Shaggy dancing

Before the performances started, in the afternoon, a guy from Nas's crew was walking around with camera and he was talking to people. Me and my mate waved at him, so he approached us and started talking to us and recording it. He asked about how long we'd been there and what do we think about the concerts. I honestly answered '50 sucked' and he laughed. I just felt I had to spread the truth worldwide. Then I said I'm waiting for Nas and that he's the best out there. Fuck yeah.
Sooo.. By the time Shaggy's finished, I was totally wet. I mean, it was raining, aight? My hoodie, my shirts, my scarf, jeans - everything. And it was still raining and we had like 30 minutes until Esco's part, so we started to shout him out. It was amazing - people went crazy and he wasn't even there yet. 'Nasir Jones', 'Nas', 'Queensbrigde' and 'fuck 50' - it was cool^^ And then, finally - he was there! With live music! Shit was amazing, I was standing there with thousands of people soaking wet, waving our hands and shouting 'ONE LOVE' or 'IF I RULED THE WORLD' and this feeling was one of the best I've ever felt. It was worth spending the money and standing in the crowd for 8 to see all the performances on that day and finally, for him to show up and perform something that dope, something that made me smile for 1,5 hour. When it finished, I had weak knees, my hands shaking and sore throat. I saw the guys from Madcon standing next to the stage and recording everything. 'One Mic' was crazy, he had this old guy with a drum and he was the only one to make a sound. He played his drum and Nas was spitting 'One Mic' verses with so much energy and passion.. WOW.

One of my observations is that Nas didn't have to encourage us to anything. To shout him out, to jump, to wave our hands, to rap along. It was enough for him to just come up and perform 'If I Ruled The World', 'I Can', 'Hate Me Now', 'Still Dreamin', 'Street Dreams', 'Life's A Bitch' and many more.. And I honestly admit that it was one of the best experiences in my life, to stand there in the crowd, in the pouring rain and shout 'one love' along with Nas. He's the fucking king

Well.. Hope you'll like the review and the pics.
