with all the money and funding they get, they can set up anything they want. they can create any sort of media agency, recruit people and get them to work on a project about an idea and bring it to attention. the job is done, and everything seems legit.

There is a lot in the brain that we don't know about. What the public isn't told is the unconscious and superconscious parts of our minds. images and sounds get into our brains and effect us more than you think or realize.
Remember, how people act and behave are based on the environment that people are around as growing up and presently live around, hearing and seeing things effects people's thoughts and behavior. this is why most people can only speak one language out of all the languages and don't even understand them (I don't know how many people speak more than one language, don't ask) sex and violence is used in music, tv and movies a lot... right?
Now think of the crime rate and how many people get pregnant and STDs in america. america has the highest crime and sex rate, if you haven't already known that. music has been proven to have massive influence on people. it can make you happy, sad, angry, etc

illuminati stick in their symbols and messages because they think it gives them power. like, you think if the secret society wanted to be kept secret, they wouldn't be giving hints if they were sooo secret, right? they use that as a trick so people can deny the existence of the secret society.

How many songs have you listened to and really like, but don't remember most of the lyrics to? Or how many songs have you heard and remember the lyrics? how many of those songs have you thought about the meaning of the lyrics to?

that's the purpose of that song in the stonecutters simpsons episode
I'm that dude.

That's because you're missing the points of everything I just said.

If they made a song that goes "We are the stonecutters!" or something, no one would remember it a few minutes after the show is over and forget about it. It's the same with any TV show, you're just watching it for entertainment, nothing in it matters. It would be the same with making the song go "Who holds back the electric car, who keeps the metric system down? We do, we do!"

With saying those things in a song, people are hearing it, but aren't paying attention to it or taking the time to understand the meaning, because the song is catchy. Or it doesn't have to be catchy, you don't even have to like it. You're not going to remember it twenty minutes later. Until someone tries to bring a secret society into people's attention, and handing out the signs like that stonecutter's song

"Dude, if they wanted to be secret, they wouldn't be telling everyone about themselves by putting in hints in movies"
"Yeah, he has a point."

The illuminati puts in their messages and symbols because they believe it helps give them power, and they use it to make people say what I just put in quotes as an immediate way to deny it.
The power is not in the symbols and messages, it comes from everyone's subconcious and superconcious minds, WHICH I EXPLAINED IN MY LAST POST

If you want to argue this whole Illuminati thing, you should really go past your current arguments, DD. Just saying, because they aren't that convincing. You're talking as if these things in the media (mention of the illuminati in songs, the stone cutters episode, micheal jackson) are proof that such an entity exists.

It isn't.

The Illuminati references are in (rap) songs because it's an interesting topic to be covered. It's one of secrecy, that makes you study the lyrics closer, much like I.T.'s religious/historical commentary in his lyrics. That doesn't make the Illuminati real.

The Stone Cutters episode...secret societies are not that secret of a concept. When Homer joins the Stone Cutters (Masonry related = Free Masons) he is entering into something that is well-known, such as the Masons, that is speculated to control things. In comedic fashion, they speak of their control on things that really do seem to be held back by some "secret force" in real life, ie, the metric system, electric car, etc. But it's only entertainment--intellectually stimulating for those smart enough to get the cues, but only entertainment.

The Micheal Jackson thing...honestly, it's no surprise that an artist would blame his lack of success domestically, his changing appearance, or something as sinister as child molestation on a conspiracy. This takes the blame away from him, and puts it somewhere out of his hands. Yes, he could be telling the truth about it, but why jump to that conclusion?

So...if you're going to argue that the Illuminati exists, try doing it in a more convincing way. Because honestly, it's not something that I disbelieve, but I find your arguments to be kind of loosely put together. Perhaps you should talk about historical facts, as opposed to the "proof" in the media. Things such as the DuPont family, and Big Oil's control over everything...not Micheal Jackson saying he was (surprise, surprise!) set up for child molestation, when the man acted strangely towards children anyway.

Just trying to move the discussion past this useless back-and-forth.

So they just put the song in there to prove that they can control people, even though no one realizes it.

class was asking about the song in the simpsons episode.

the illuminati references are not just in rap songs, they are in rock songs and pop songs too. musicians sing what they are feeling, not just because some things are an interesting topic (except for those catchy hip hop songs like the real slim shady and we made you for example, whether or not you believe in Illuminati, they are told to make those songs, and then the advertising companies will help promote them)

the stonecutters episode, the simpsons isn't the only that that has done this. spongebob has a similar episode that deals with a club. because spongebob... and his stupid friend patrick are hyper and annoying, when they said "All hail the all seeing eye" (which is that eye on the top of the pyramid), they knew no one would take it seriously because it's spongebob.

okay, let's say that people/shows do deal with things in a comedic fashion, say the electric car and metric system since we're already talking about it. The stonecutters was just a hang out club, they didn't DO ANYTHING, other than hang out and have cool stuff. Remember those vibrating chairs and the rings to get free sodas from the vending machine?
Anyway, if the electric car and shit was all just a joke, how was it relevant? it was a hang out place for all the members, and had benefits for their life outside the club. they didn't have secret control over anything. Since it was a hang out club, what was with the "chosen one" that everyone worshiped? Does it make sense? Why was he being worshiped again?

Michael Jackson

no! people are blaming it on a conspiracy BECAUSE michael jackson was too kind of a person. He was polite no matter what. he was locked in a room smeared with crap and had a very bad smell, by police, and remained calm and polite. THAT'S why people are blaming it on the conspiracy, not because he is telling people about a conspiracy. Now if we have seen michael get angry and hear him swear and stuff like that, then naturally less people would believe the conspiracy thing michael was talking about.
And michael jackson worked for his entire childhood, and was also abused as a child by his father, who forced him to work. That's why he had a thing for children. Just do some research on michael jackson and you know what I mean.

Historical facts? Okay, um.
It started in 1776, with the founding fathers. The founding fathers was mentioned in the stonecutters episode and said 1776 happened differently, and they knew the audience would put it off as a joke because it was the simpsons.

I have not done enough research about the historical facts about illuminati, but when I do I will get back to you.

the illuminati hide the darkness of their activity in the light (the public eye), that's there philosophy and it works, no need to talk again about the dollar, 9/11, ww1,ww2/ the rockafellas, the freemasons, etc. the fact is they control everything, and there is nothing we can do for the moment, but being informed is the first step, help others be informed too.

secret society tryin' to keep they eye on me"- mobb deep

and to bring the disscusion on a more familiar basis, check out jay-z, kanye and nas, and theyre posible illuminati connections, in case you don't allready saw this vid :
