the best song all-around on Relapse?

I think it is. I listen to it non-stop. The chorus is catchy, makes sense and it's good, the choruses and the rhymes in the chorus are not only true, but brilliant. The beat fits the whole song. What do you think?

Just thought I would spark up another Relapse convo. before we hear anything from R2. I've been thinking about it anyway.

I can see why people like it over Beautiful. Even though Beautiful has a big message, that's an overall message, Deja Vu talks about his life and it's just a dope song, and with all the personal stuff, it makes it even better.

i hope he has more songs like that and beautiful, on R2 honestly. He can prove he can make funny songs, lyrical dope songs, diss tracks, but I think we all can agree he can do the meaningful shit too, right? I certainly think so.

it is a great song but Fa-Q what are your other 2 songs ahead of Deja Vu in your opinion?...I just put Relapse back into my CD player and to be honest it took me until now to realize how great the lyrics are...IMO relapse is like the SLIM SHADY LP with the rhymes about drugs and what not so im hoping R2 will be like the MARSHAL MATHERS LP with him just going off the wall and fucking changing the rap game again...o by the way my top 3 eminem songs are the way i am, criminal, without me, soldier, love you more, rock bottom ,sing for the moment, till i collapse...LOL its hard to name my top eminem songs

I think 8 Mile Road is forgotten about for a lot of ppl and is an underrated song. One of my favs. But yeah M-N-M, I agree with you. I hope it's like that, but I see it being like that as well.

Word man. For everyone who likes 'Stay Wide Awake' or whatever, you do realize it has the SAME EXACT LYRICAL content in 3 other songs on Relapse. Seriously, I don't want a 36 year old man act like he likes rapping about raping women with dildos and shoe horns. The only part of that song that is good is the few lines that start "As soon as my flow starts..." other than that, his rhyme scheme gets very very repetitive.

Deja Vu is one of the few only legit Eminem songs where you can tell he wasn't making it to act "shocking'. It was straight up story telling mixed with real lyrics and some humor (aka. why Eminem is 99% better than every other MC).
