It is the best song...its so fuckin raw and it tells a better story than beautiful... And personally I think its his 3rd best song....ever

it is a great song but Fa-Q what are your other 2 songs ahead of Deja Vu in your opinion?...I just put Relapse back into my CD player and to be honest it took me until now to realize how great the lyrics are...IMO relapse is like the SLIM SHADY LP with the rhymes about drugs and what not so im hoping R2 will be like the MARSHAL MATHERS LP with him just going off the wall and fucking changing the rap game again...o by the way my top 3 eminem songs are the way i am, criminal, without me, soldier, love you more, rock bottom ,sing for the moment, till i collapse...LOL its hard to name my top eminem songs

The only reason i believe it to be as your posts describes one of the top 2 songs on relapse, including beautiful, is because those are the 2 monst personal, Deja vu being the most personal, but I think Same Song and Dance is the next best song on the album imo

I think Deja Vu is mad overrated. It's probably one of the least listened songs on Relapse from me right down there with We Made You and Crack a Bottle. He can usually make good emotional songs but still keep good multis but he tried so hard to use multis that the song sounds forced and not emotional at all.

But i never had no problem with alcohol

It's the fact that he just explained his life over 3 years, in a story, in one song. He showed his situation with his drug addiction - that's why it's so great. Storytelling is an art and FEW rappers can it do and FEW can make it interesting. This is Eminem at his best.

deja vu lost all replay value after the third time...i thought it was a classic, but it just doesn't have what beautiful has imo.. plus beat is wack (not that it's not musically good, but it resembles wayy to many of dres recent beats)
