I think that too. I mean, fuck no I dont wanna stop listenin to rap! But eventually, I think we will all grow out of it... :'(

i knew people would say this, i doubt it though. they is no way in hell you'll be bumping rap music when you're 60.

i'll be 60 years old bumping some Eminem & ICP bro believe me they opened me eyes to the music....no matter what theirs always kids out there into some sort of music & its inspiring...new rappers are on the come up everyday....the rap scene is crazy & anyone can get in....when i'm old as fuck where will the history of music be? still the same autotune mumbo jumbo you hear everyday? or will there be new cats spitting new raps? as a serious debate I feel anyone on here who listens to hip hop will never grow out of it...unless they really force themself to....I know that if i didn't have rap music i'd shoot myself in the head..thats fer sure

I listen almost all type of songs... from the hardest rock to the softest piano or soul shit, typical for old folks. There's no limit of age for any type of music. The same apllies to rap. I'll probably lose interest not only in rap, but in some other styles when I get old.
It's unpredictable.
My dad, for example, always listened to this soft shit. Since he was young. He always hated rock and rap. And you can see old folks playin' rock around here. The music you enjoy when you're young probably will be the music you'll enjoy when you're old, you might cut some styles, but it'1ll probably basically the same. But also, when you get old you might not have interest in hard shit, cuz you're too tired, you don't have energy no more to party and bounce, you just wanna relax.
But relaxin is somethin you can do by listenin to soft rap or rock maybe.
The imporatnt is listen to the music that makes you happy, young or old, don't matter the style.

No idea. Right now, I don't see myself listening to any other type of music (except of reggae maybe) as passionately as I listen to rap right now. Some people may think that grown up people listening to rap are ridiculous, but for me it's something really worth admiring - growing up with rap and still loving it as an adult.

I think that even though I might grow out of it one day, I'm still going out to bump it once in a while just to remember the good old times - how it feels when you hear a line that awesome that it gives you chills or when you got a beat stuck in your head for days.. *bumps 'Seven'*

I don't think I wanna grow out of it, I feel like I got something to hold on to - rap's been with me for years now and it's a great feeling when you got bunch of people who love the same stuff you love and you sit for hours with them and discuss who's better, who sucks, who makes great beats and how fucking awesome was Esco's last performance in Poland.

thats cuz you grew up in a rich family mr. 1400 euro's for a watch and shit

wanna know why some will never grow outta rap?.....cuz rap relates directly toward them........i dunno the type of rap you listen to........

but i'm guessing your not living very hard....(no offense)...so when certain rappers are talking about "not being able to afford....."....and talking abotu some of the shit they have to do to get by....theres some people who listen to it cuz its liek th same problems their going through....not saying thats the case for everyone..............but it happens to the people who understand the...harder life and they go through the same shit (not really saying that i do....cuz i think my lifes a tad bit better then some of the surrounding neighborhoods)....some people will grow outta it becuz they mature....and the music doesn't....some people will never grow out of it becuz they're close to it..............

me personally........if it keeps getting worse....yes prolly...............cuz i can always listen to older shit...but how lnog b4 that gets boring?

It''s the music that i grew up on and the music that i like. Old people still listen to "The Beetles" n' shit. Well, this is the music of my childhood and youth. I'll always love it.

Im already growing out of it and have been doing that for the last 2 years. Sure i still check out new big albums that drop, i still listen to hiphop but thats because i have a hiphop collection that ive started building 5 years ago. I got way more hiphop than i got any other genre, so its easyer to put on some hiphop. Although i already prefer some other music over rap.
