the "new school"

Postby Mr. Chambers » Oct 18th, '09, 16:33

ok i dunno how many threads have been made about this.....but idgaf....i'm bored....and gonna actually care about other ppl's opinions for once...

yall know the list of "new school" mc's......

who you think is the most talented?...who do you think is the most likely to be the next big thing? (if one of you say soulja boy....i will bash you in every thread i see you in until i get banned or stop posting here...........)

and another question...
do you honestly think audiences are getting tired of the current hip hop trend and maybe we're head back to a more skilled spectrum looknig @ the higher request for slaughterhouse and eminem and ect....?

just a few questions i wonder what other people's opinions are.....i'll leave mine once i'm sure this thread won't flop lol

and I hear J Cole is dope but i've yet to give him a listen

aslo I believe hip-hop isn't moving to a more skilled level it's just that the skilled rappers are getting smarter, like Drake

they are finally gettin the idea how to make music enjoyable and more main stream

You should def give a listen to J Cole, hes fuckin awesome, and fuckin future :worship:

The only person ive listened to new school is drake and he isn't even that bad. He justs gets hated cause of his association with Wayne. Look up the city is mine, dope track. The only verse ive heard from J cole is on A star is born and its pretty good too.

its not even so much their all for show....but like all them seem so motivated to just do it for the cash reward..........

they'll put out 3 mixtapes a year...and only 1 being good the other two meh.............and its song after song of bullshit..........like i wanna hear a rapper who's not afraid to make his craft better and expand......ya know?....and like i just don't see alot of them switching...

its liek 50 cent....he came out with GRODT.....dope CD....then after he figured out the formula.....he stuck to it...never tried to do something else..............and thats what these other artists are gonan do....

but to me...drake will just be the next papoose............just give it a year and he'll be a nobody........

PS...reks-say goodnight>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

i did a diss over that beat....fucking sick shit

but yes probably right

and I hate the formula, especially the "my albums comin out so I gotta diss someone" or "my single has gotta sound like that song on the radio"
