what beat making programs would you recommend, I already have reason 4, fl studio 9 xxl and cubase 5. Is their any better then those one's :flower:

is that for making beats or just editing them, cause the file size don't seem that big :flower:

There isn't any "best" software for beatmaking. FL Studio, Reason and Cubase are already the ones that many ppl use and I suggest them personally. It's not the program, it's YOU who make the beats so if you got skills enough so you can make music with almost anything, so it doesn't depend on that.

I use FL Studio 6 Producers edition and Cubase 2 for mixing/mastering so I can tell you that you got better software that I got but I don't care cause I'll manage with these cause I've learned so much about these, been using this same FL Studio for about 4-5 years and still making some heat :y: So it's not about the software, it's you.

The size isnt in the program but in the samples. Software is only 100 mb in my case, but i have 7 GB of samples.
im using FL 8 by the way.. using it for 3 years and everyday i find new stuff.

Exactly, in FL Studio itself it doesn't have almost at all good samples, so once you have FL Studio or something, you have to get some samples if you want to make beats, or VST instruments etc.

Reason 4 has worked for me pretti well... I would recomend sticking to that, and watch a few youtube tuts to find new things

you would be amazed by all the things you can do with reason

Reason is pretty dope but I don't like it so much, I dunno why, but not bad if you like it :y:

yea some people just have different tastes i guess. some people swear on it. others swear on FL.
