The Crown is Mine (Sit Down)

Postby Relapse.LP » Nov 3rd, '09, 08:21

As I flip through criminal records, my non-existent pen is writing cynical letters/
To murderers, rapists, and killers locked up nightly in minimal shelters/
Studying famous cases of organized crime to get dough to afford tight rhymes/
In accord with "time flies", there's no tomorrow; lyrical swords fight lines/
Enemies scatter like germs in a "remedy" batter; merely a lucky traitor/
When those friends-of-me shatter; opponents fear me, them fucking haters/
Mortal bullets reflect; call it respect or pay homage to the "Cullen" reflex/
Triggers I pull-them erect to Hiroshima-bombard your foolish defense/
When I sold-them "projects", "black" "nerds" furious without "home""work"/
More arrogant than when Rome smirks; others curious about my "throne" words/

Taking the crown by all means necessary...
An eye for an eye; crushing all adversaries...
You call my rhymes violence, not self-defense...
Well, fuck it, I just call it basic intelligence...

"Cold" metaphors "pack" more "punch" than Kool-Aid; see bad rules-fade/
You're fucking tools-played in Lucifer's cruel-game so these rap jewels-pay/
Bodies twisted into trapezoids; various Stans are kissing rapper's-groins/
"Knock" foes out so quickly it's like these lyrical fists are whack-Steroids/
Eternal nemesis sights me; shrieks with the force of God's "genesis" times three/
Cowards don't benefit fight pleas; raps faker than the Senate's "right" decree/
When whack MCs see me, their pupils whiter than Pope Benedict's "white" feet/
Chuckling while you scour scorched notebooks for your burnt remnants of writings/
Primitive methods are dismissed and set in blood when the corpse's thawed puddle ceases/
To flow like a murder scene; "Leave-my-mark" afterwards like "Saw" "puzzle pieces"/

Taking the crown by all means necessary...
An eye for an eye; crushing all adversaries...
You call my rhymes violence, not self-defense...
Well, fuck it, I just call it basic intelligence...

Feedback please. :flower:
Yo, from the first to the last of it; delivery is passionate/
The whole and not the half of it; vocab and not the math of it/
Projectile that them blasted with; accurate assassin shit/
Me and Kweli close like... Bethlehem and Nazareth/

Those are some awesome fuckin multies and great wordplay. And I liked the concept too. But unlike Yah-hah, I didnt really dig the chorus. Maybe cuz Im one of those guys who like more simple chorus'. The lines were dope, but not really chorus kinda thing.

Anyway, :y: :y: :y:
