Text is awfully done. And for the picture all you did was glowing edge, and imo it didnt work here unless all of it would have been black and white ish and maybe just one other offset of a colour.

Try playing with your text (no homo) as in like Drop Shadow, Outer Glow, Inner Glow, see what looks good and experiment with the numbers.
