you my good sir...are a moron.....your talking about shopping...lets talk about real world scotty......the apartments alone...your paying about $800 @ the very least..and if your paying any less you in the hood....thats if we're talking living right in NYC.....if your talking about living in a city further away...then you might be alright...but get that NYC fantasy out your head you europeans have in your mind.....yes....its a wonderful place to take a vacation too.........but as far as living its one of the most stressful and fast paced cities......not to mention it got a shit load of ppl living there...and alot of ppl have trouble finding jobs as is....so you being a foreigner (unless you have a degree in some field) is going to have just as much, if not more of a hard time finding a job.......if you gonna live in america....pick a smaller..less known city.....you'll find work easier and it'll be cheaper....if you really wanna be that close to NYC find a city in NY thats semi close and visit on the weekends.....
