I'm not surprised, the rumour about an early retirement has been circulating for awhile, but since it's still not officially confirmed I won't believe it until Em actually does hang up the mic... it would be awfully sad, but on the other hand I really do understand why he would be fed up with all the hype and the strain of having to outdo himself all the time.

Em doesn't stop I can tell you. Look at all his new releases with other artists. There isn't any sign that he's gonna stop. I can't be sure about Em going to make a new album... But he Will do a lot of songs.

When he stops, it will be the end of aftermath and Em's goal was to make hiphop more popular. And when he quits he will not make hiphop more popular. So I don't believe this article..

yea its true, this story just came to countries newspaper today, he thinks hes got nothing else to say and eminem no longer exists with in him, sad but true he is quitting, maybe he will feat in some songs like he has since encore....till then its just producing for him

Just to let you know, nothing at all right now is official. In other words there has been no statement that Eminem has retired or will do so. Yes there has been speculation and even opinions from associates, but nothing is official and I'd say don't lose hope.

Hey, Dre is 40 and releasing detox next year .. Ems still got 8 years to reach that stage.
